Greiner sells lids for cups, which had to be laboriously devided in the packaging with multi-part spacers. They no longer wanted these ugly grey inserts made of solidboard. Not only the appearance, but also the subsequent handling of the lids was unsatisfactory. We have replaced the multi-part separators with a convenient one-part divider made of white corrugated, which can be easily handled during all subsequent processes in the supply chain.

The divider is also stackable, therefore prevents deformation of the lids during storage and transport.

Greiner appreciates a 16% material saving as well as almost 7 tonnes less CO2 emissions.
